For years I’ve been hearing the death knell for Brick & Mortar real estate. “Brick & Mortar is dead or dying”. For some properties and retailers, perhaps. But I don’t see Brick & Mortar going away anytime soon. With that being said, there are, changes, “a foot”. Of course, in my five decades in the business, there has always been changes “a foot”. A few years ago, urban was all the rage, not suburban may be coming back; strip centers were dead and malls survived, now many malls have outlived their value and neighborhood centers are hot, sort of.
